Two coworkers, Kara and Casey, face off in a cutthroat office culture where one will stop at nothing to get ahead, even if it means sabotaging the other. As Casey struggles to prove Kara's scheming and navigate her own invisible disability, she must find the strength to stand up for herself and create a better workplace for all.

The Pilot - THE END

INT. KARA’S OFFICE - DAY

Kara sits at her desk, a thoughtful expression on her face. She looks up at the camera.

KARA: If I could tell my 12-year-old self anything, it would be that it's going to be okay. I know I've been through a lot, with my mother giving me up and all the doubts and insecurities that come with it. But I need to remember to live my life for myself and not let those doubts hold me back.

She sighs and looks down at her hands.

KARA: I also need to remember that Mark and Mary Clark love me more than I could ever imagine, and I need to get it together. I can't keep being reckless and disobedient. There's so much I'll miss out on if I keep going down that path.

She looks back up at the camera, a determined expression on her face.

KARA: I need to take control of my life and make the most of it. I can't let my past hold me back any longer.

INT. OFFICE – DAY (PRIOR TO FMLA LEAVE)

Casey sits at her desk, a focused expression on her face as she goes over some paperwork. She looks up at the camera.

CASEY: If I could tell my 12-year-old self anything, it would be that it doesn't get easier. You just get better equipped at handling tough situations and learning to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.

She leans back in her chair and crosses her arms.

CASEY: I also need to remember to slow down. My brain works differently from others, and I have an invisible disability that won't be detected until my 40s. But I'm going to be okay.

She looks down at her desk, a thoughtful expression on her face.

CASEY: One thing that I want more than anything is for people to be able to go to work and enjoy what they do. No one should have to deal with bureaucracy, micromanagement, micro aggressions, or gaslighting. If you love to cook, you should be able to go to work and cook without dealing with a manager who is having a bad day and takes it out on you.

She looks back up at the camera, a determined expression on her face.

CASEY: I'm going to do whatever it takes to create a better workplace for everyone, where people can do what they love and get paid for it without all the negativity.

INT. BREAKROOM - DAY

Kara sits at the kitchen table, a dreamy look in her eyes.

KARA: If I could have anything in this world, it would be a miniature pig. I am so in love with the idea of having a little teacup piggy to keep me company while my husband is traveling. It would be the best companion.

She smiles to herself.

INT. OFFICE - DAY

Kara sits at her desk, scrolling through her computer with a determined expression on her face. She picks up the phone and dials a number.

KARA: (into phone) Hey, it's Kara. I need to set up a meeting with Casey as soon as possible. I have some things I need to discuss with her.

She listens for a moment, then nods.

KARA: Yeah, I know she's on leave right now, but this can't wait. It's important. Can you set it up for next week? Thanks.

She hangs up the phone and sits back in her chair, a sly smile on her face.

KARA: (to herself) Time to set Casey up for the kill. She's made me look bad in front of the CEO one too many times. It's my turn to get ahead.

INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY (On FMLA Disability Leave)

Casey sits on the couch, scrolling through her phone with a worried expression on her face. Her mother sits next to her, a concerned look on her face.

MOTHER: What's wrong, honey? You seem worried.

CASEY: (sighs) It's just work. Kara is trying to set me up for failure. She's been plotting against me ever since I called her out on her unfair treatment of the team.

MOTHER: (nods) That doesn't surprise me. Kara has always been a manipulator. You need to be careful around her.

CASEY: (nods) I know, Mom. I just wish there was a way to prove what she's been doing. But I can't do that if she's constantly trying to set me up for failure.

MOTHER: (pats Casey's hand) Just stay strong and keep fighting

INT. BILLIONAIRE'S OFFICE - DAY

The billionaire sits behind his desk, a smug expression on his face as he signs the papers in front of him.

BILLIONAIRE: (to himself) That's it, Casey's gone for good. I can finally get rid of that thorn in my side and move on with my plans.

INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

Casey sits in front of her computer, staring at the screen with a determined expression on her face.

CASEY: (to herself) I won't let them get away with this. I'll file a complaint with the EEOC and fight this wrongful termination. I won't let them bully me anymore.

INT. OFFICE - DAY

Kara sits at her desk, a triumphant look on her face as she scrolls through her emails.

KARA: (to herself) Finally, Casey is gone. Now I can focus on my own career and get that promotion I've been working towards.

INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

Casey sits on the couch, scrolling through her phone with a concerned expression on her face.

CASEY: (to himself) I just received a notification that my complaint has been filed with the EEOC. It's a long process, but I'm determined to fight for what's right.

INT. OFFICE - DAY

The billionaire sits at his desk, a worried expression on his face as he reads through a stack of papers.

BILLIONAIRE: (to himself) Shit
